Fostering Faith is a nonprofit organization that partners with local churches to host a weekly program for children in foster care grades Pre-K through 5th grade. Each week during the school year, foster parents have the opportunity to drop their children off at their partner church locations where they feed them dinner, create a safe space to play, and teach them about Jesus. Their mission is to bring the hope of Jesus to children in foster care while also providing consistent and reliable respite for foster parents.

Fostering Faith launched their program this Fall at The Foundry Church in Zeeland and are currently serving foster families in Ottawa County. They offer open enrollment so families are able to register for their program throughout the entirety of the 2023-24 school year as word continues to spread. They are working to grow their program at The Foundry Church over the next year, with the hope of expanding to other churches and communities around the state in the years to come!

Since Fostering Faith is a fairly new organization, we used The Dollar Difference funds this month to help them purchase a quality sign for their organization that they can use for events as well as purchasing all of the items off of their wishlist so their program has all of the supplies they need for the upcoming year.
