Going to Summer camp can be a transformational time in the life of a child. For the month of August, we were so excited to support Tall Oaks Camp with the funds raised this month!

At Tall Oaks Camp, they believe in nurturing the potential of every child, regardless of economic status, by fostering a sense of community, belonging, and adventure in the great outdoors. Their mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and vibrant camping experience where kids can explore nature, discover their strengths, develop lifelong skills, and create cherished memories. They are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and play beneath the tall oaks, where the only ceiling is the canopy of stars above.

Tall Oaks Camp is a camp that is founded on Christian principles, and has been serving campers, families, and guests since the 1950's. They have a heart for serving low-income families and underserved youth, and work to foster each child's individuality and talents by respecting, valuing, and supporting their belonging.

With the funds raised this month, we were able to help the camp purchase items that were needed to run camp this Summer...life jackets, archery supplies, games and outdoor activities. In order to help them be prepared for their Summer programming, the funds were given to them in May so they could enjoy their new items throughout the Summer.
