For the month of September, the funds raised this month were used to sponsor 9 foster/adoptive youth for a week of Pony Pals Camp at Renew Therapeutic Riding Center!

Renew Therapeutic Riding Center is located in Holland, MI, and they work to enhance the well-being of individuals in the community through the physical, cognitive and mental benefits of therapeutic horsemanship. This Summer they hosted the Pony Pals Camp which is specifically geared towards children and teens who have been adopted or are currently in foster care. During the 4 days of camp, the kids got the opportunity to work with a horse on the ground through different one-on-one group activities. They spent time learning about what horses need in relationship with humans and how to build trust and connection with them. On the last day of camp, the kids were given a riding experience with their horse!
