Book Blessing : March 2026

March is ‘National Reading Month’ and we are using our $1.00 donations this month to purchase a ton of brand new books for children in the West Michigan foster, kinship, adoptive, and family preservation community.

We are partnering with local agency workers and nonprofits to help us distribute the books directly to the youth they serve on our behalf.

I still remember being a child at the school book fair carefully picking out the books that I liked, proudly bringing them home, and feeling so special knowing they were mine. Moments like that can make a lasting impact on a child, helping them feel seen, valued, and encouraged to love reading.

We want kids to be able to choose books that they’re excited about, take them home, and read them again and again. Not borrowed. Not temporary. Theirs forever.

Our community’s $1.00 donations are creating moments of dignity and joy for youth, one book at a time.
