For the month of July, we will be supporting Samaritas with our Dollar Difference funds.

At Samaritas, they have made a concerted effort to focus their work in four core areas of impact:

1. Housing for all
2. Providing child and family services to Michigan families (including foster care, family preservation, and adoption)
3. Welcoming new Americans with the support they need
4. Helping people connect with mental health and addiction resources.

At Samaritas, compassion is their passion. It’s what they do and who they are. And they understand that in order to make a life-changing difference for someone, that compassion must be put into action. It’s what inspired them to open their doors over 90 years ago and it’s what drives them today as they continue to open their doors and hearts, changing minds and behaviors to connect and work together to unleash collective energy and have a lasting impact.

Samaritas will be using the funds from The Dollar Difference to provide meals throughout the Summer to their foster families as a way to connect with each other, relieve the burden of meal preparation, and have fun!
