A few weeks ago, we learned about a family (a parent and three children) who bravely left a domestic violence situation in hopes of building a safer, healthier future. Making the decision to uproot a family is never easy, and this parent showed incredible courage in choosing protection and peace for their children.

Because of your generosity, The Dollar Difference was able to step in and help this family start over. We helped provide the three kids with fully set up bedrooms and equipped the parent with many of the essentials needed.

We are especially grateful for Restored Refuge Designs (one of our previous monthly recipients) for partnering with us and supplying one of the beds and mattresses.

As we enter the month of December, we invite our entire community to join us in praying for this family :

- Pray for the hearts of these three sweet children whose lives have been turned upside down. May they feel peace, safety, and unconditional love in their new space.

- Pray for their parent. May they feel supported, strengthened, and surrounded by caring people as they navigate this new chapter.
